CHARLOTTE, N.C. – To ensure the health and safety of attendees, guests and visitors, the Committee on Arrangements (COA) for the 2020 Republican National Convention will host a tele-town hall on April 15th beginning at 11 a.m. ET in place of the on-site Spring Media Walkthrough. This revision allows for media to still receive the information necessary for planning coverage of the 2020 Republican National Convention while following recommendations of local, state and federal officials. Registered attendees will receive call-in information no later than 24 hours prior to the call.

Members of the media who will be accredited to cover the convention are invited to join the call, which will include an informational briefing and a Q&A. Participants may submit questions prior to the call, and these inquiries will be used to create a frequently asked question document to be shared on the COA website.

Presenters during the tele-town hall will address a range of topics including administrative and logistical needs, issuing media tickets and credentials, deposit requirements and payment deadlines.

COA staff is working with the convention venues to accommodate individual walkthroughs of Spectrum Center and the Charlotte Convention Center at a later date.
